About Alysa

Originally from Central Maryland, Alysa now lives in Minnesota with her husband, daughter, and rescue dog. While her diverse geographic experiences and mixed cultural heritage have shaped her as a woman and writer, nature has ultimately been her biggest influence. As a lifelong source of inspiration, her love for the natural world allows Alysa to find “home” in the outdoors no matter where she goes. When she’s not writing, you can most likely find Alysa barefoot in the backyard or snacking on something delicious.

Starhunt is Alysa's debut novel. She is excited to publish book two of the Secrets of the Night Sky Series soon, as well as to work on future fiction projects.
